KEco Rock Bolt

KEco Rock bolts are widely commercialized around the world due to their excellent material properties in terms of safety, constructability and quality

What is KEco Rock Bolt?

The KEco Rock bolt is a glass fiber reinforced plastic self-screw type product consisting of solid type and hollow type products, and the solid / hollow rock bolts are superior alternative to steel rock bolts in all aspects as a result of several tests at the tunnel site. In particular, it has been widely commercialized in various countries around the world in recognition of its superiority in safety, constructability and quality.

Eco-Friendly Material

· Civil engineering materials used since the 1990s after the development of GFRP in the 1950s (40% share of the domestic rock bolt market)

· Long life of facilities and reduced resource consumption due to strong corrosion resistance

· Reduce production resources by less than 45% compared to steel rebar

· CO2 emissions less 73% than production of steel rebar

· 1/4 weight ratio of steel rebar address increasing worker safety

· 4 times many loads can be transported in comparison with the steel reinforcement

· Increased convenience of construction management by allowing coloring

GFRP Rock Bolt Applications

Due to its high load resistance and corrosion resistance,
it is used in Rock Bolt and Soil Nail construction sites
such as tunnels and pier construction based on
its high resistance to impact loads, torsion and shear strength
